Inspired by his mother who has MS, Marco sits on the board of directors for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, BC & Yukon division.
Marco Iannuzzi’s Climb for the Cup raised over $20,000 for the Branch Out Neurological Foundation. The 802 step scramble to the top of the Calgary Tower to meet Marco and the Grey Cup was inspired by his mother who has multiple sclerosis. HOW YOU CAN HELP

Marco joined Ernie Els in his commitment to helping people diagnosed on the autism spectrum live healthy, productive lives. He emceed Els for Autism Canada’s inaugural golf challenge which raised over $175,000 at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club. Marco teamed up with Fortis BC in a program designed to educate elementary students on the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility—being an “Energy Champion”. The program visits 75 schools across BC each year. HOW YOU CAN HELP
Marco has acted as moderator for the You Can Play athletes forums in BC which focused on eliminating homophobia in sports, the panel includes 2x Olympic Gold Medallist Angela Hucles. Marco was an honored guest in Men of Hope's Charity Poker Tournament which raised $25,000 Dollars for the BC Society for Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse. He also served as the events live auctioneer.

Marco visited the Calgary Young Offenders facility as a motivational speaker. The Young Offender Branch Custody Program promotes positive behaviour change in the young offender in custody, while preparing the young person for reintegration to the community. HOW YOU CAN HELP
Marco enjoys spending time at the grass roots levels coaching and mentoring student-athletes about the importance of balancing academics and athletics.
